how do we do this ?
Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy combines yoga philosophy with guided breathing, yoga stretches, meditation, vocal toning, positive coaching, gratitude, self-care, reflection and goal setting to help you be your best self. Yoga Therapy is for anyone suffering from a physical ailment, emotional pain, anxiety, depression, or just on a path of self improvement. The short-term benefits are immediate, and the long-term benefits are life changing. No yoga experience necessary.
For children and teens with ADD/ADHD, anxiety, social challenges, and behavioral concerns, yoga therapy offers: skill-building techniques that boost self-esteem, cultivate self awareness, strengthen resiliency, build empathy, empower decision-making and improve overall physical strength, flexibility and wellness.
Sound Bath
A sound bath is an acoustic experience created to induce deep relaxation and invite energetic shifts toward positive change. These ancient healing instruments are tuned to the frequencies that our minds and bodies respond to on a physiological and neurological level. For the ultimate somatic experience, sound baths can be combined with:
- Breathwork
- Movement
- Yoga
- Energy Work
- Guided Meditations

Stress Management Consulting
Stress is emotional, and it is also physical. According to a Harvard medical study, chronic stress can lead to high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, digestive disorders, decreased immune system, anxiety, depression, along with many other health problems. In addition it can also lend to learning challenges and mood disorders. Navigating life’s obstacles requires balance, self-care and compassion. The first step is recognizing that stress is effecting the quality of your life, and robbing you from the joy that surrounds you. The tools you need are all inside you, and working with Sarah to fine-tune your innate stress management system will help you learn to cope with the challenges that come your way while helping you live in alignment with peace and joy.

FAQ
I am the only specialized yoga teacher in the DC/MD/VA area certified in Integrated Movement Therapy along with the International Association of Yoga Therapy (IAYT) certification accruing more than 1000 hours of certification and experience.
I have been described as an “out of the box” thinker. I strive to use all my practices to learn, understand, and help people living with depression, anxiety, stress, agitation, and exhaustion. I will teach you how to alleviate and rejuvenate using techniques that compliment your life-style. I welcome those who feel intimidated by yoga and believe they “cannot do yoga” and “cannot do meditation”.
Using my practical skills and knowledge I work to uncover internal blocks and promote self care strategies & stress management techniques. These strategies will lead to stronger connections resulting in an increase in overall joy and life satisfaction and improve overall health and wellness.
For children and teens with ADHD and anxiety, social challenges, and behavioral concerns, sessions will provide skills that empower decision-making, boost self-esteem and cultivate self awareness, strengthen resiliency, build empathy, and improve overall physical strength and wellness.
Sarah creates a personalized program for each client based on the intake meeting. Sarah and the client work together to set goals, stay on target and celebrate the wins. The client receives a report at the end of each session so they know how they are doing and how much progress they have made towards their set goals. Upon request, formal reports can be prepared for other professionals.
All of the therapies and workshops are tailored to meet the needs of the client. Sarah works with teenagers and adults who have ADD, ADHD, Aspergers, Autism, learning challenges, language disorders, physical ailments, social anxiety, stress and panic disorders.
Other clients include people who need support in self care, are overwhelmed with stress, feel stuck, have negative thinking, suffer from anxiety and/or depression, post traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, illness, grief and pain or are on the path of self-exploration.
